What are Chat Mate? Chat Mates are live practice sessions where you're matched with another learner to have guided conversations. A coach evaluates your speaking and gives feedback to help you improve.
iSpeaktu Terms & Conditions What services does iSpeaktu provide? iSpeaktu offers online English lessons conducted via agreed video platforms. Lesson duration, content, and schedule are confirmed at the time of booking. How does booking and payment work? All lessons must be paid in full before confirmation. Lesson packages must be used within the validity period stated at the time of purchase. What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy? Cancellations require at least 12 hours’ notice before the scheduled lesson start time. Lessons canceled late or missed without notice are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. Can I get a refund? Refunds are only available for completely unused packages. No refunds will be issued if any lesson in a bundle or package has been used. Lessons not taken within the purchase period will expire without refund. What happens if the tutor cancels a lesson? If the tutor cancels, the lesson credit will be returned to your account balance for future booking within your package period. How are lesson times managed? Lessons start and end at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, the lesson will still end at the original scheduled time. Can I change my assigned teacher? Yes, students may request a change of teacher if unsatisfied with their current teacher. Teacher changes depend on availability and must be requested through official communication channels. Are these Terms & Conditions affected by local consumer laws? Yes. Under applicable consumer laws (including EU and UK law), lessons may start before the standard cooling-off period ends. By booking, you waive the right to cancel for a refund once the service has begun. What is expected regarding conduct during lessons? Respectful and professional communication is required. Inappropriate behavior may result in lesson termination without refund. What does agreeing to these Terms & Conditions mean? By proceeding with payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, which apply regardless of your country of residence.
