How to answer: “Tell me about yourself”
1. Start with your current job or most recent experience.
This tells the interviewer what you are doing now or what you did last.
Example: “I’m working as a sales assistant at a clothing store.”
2. Mention how many years of experience you have and your important skills.
This shows that you know your job and what you can do.
Example: “I have three years of experience in customer service and I’m good at solving problems.”
3. Use adjectives to describe your personality and how you work.
This helps the interviewer understand what kind of person you are.
Example: “I’m friendly, hardworking, and organized.”
4. Keep your answer professional and short.
Focus on your work experience and skills, not personal details. Try to speak clearly and not too long.
5. Don’t repeat your entire resume.
Just give a brief summary that highlights your best points.
