iSpeaktu – Terms & Conditions By booking and paying for lessons with iSpeaktu, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following: 1. Services ⦁ iSpeaktu provides online English lessons via agreed video platforms. Lesson duration, content, and schedule are as confirmed at booking. 2. Booking & Payment ⦁ All lessons must be paid in full before confirmation. Packages must be used within the validity period stated at purchase. 3. Cancellation & Rescheduling ⦁ Cancellations require a minimum of 12 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time. ⦁ Lessons canceled late or missed without notice are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. 4. Refunds ⦁ No refunds will be issued if any lesson in a bundle/package has been used ⦁ Refunds are only available for completely unused packages. ⦁ Lessons not taken within the purchase period expire without refund. 5. Tutor/Student Cancellations Tutor Cancellation: ⦁ If the tutor cancels, the lesson will be credited back to the student’s account balance for future booking within the package period. ⦁ Tutors are expected to give at least 12 hours’ notice for cancellations. Frequent cancellations may affect the tutor’s standing on the platform. Student Cancellation: ⦁ If the student cancels less than 12 hours before the scheduled lesson, the lesson will be marked as completed and paid to the tutor. ⦁ Any student cancellation made without prior discussion with the tutor will also be counted as a completed lesson. 6. Lesson Time Student Lateness: ⦁ Lessons start and end at the scheduled time. If the student is late, the lesson will still end at the original time, unless prior arrangements have been made with the tutor. Tutor Lateness: ⦁ If the tutor is late, the lesson must still last the full scheduled duration (e.g., 50 minutes). If the tutor is more than 15 minutes late without notice, the student may request a full credit for the lesson. 7. No-Shows Student No-Show: ⦁ If the student does not attend the lesson and gives no prior notice, the lesson will be marked as completed and paid to the tutor. Tutor No-Show: ⦁ If the tutor does not attend the lesson and gives no prior notice, the student will receive a full lesson credit and tutor not paid. Tutor Penalties: Repeated no-shows (more than 2 within a month) may result in: ⦁ Reduced lesson allocations or visibility on the platform ⦁ Temporary suspension from teaching ⦁ Permanent removal for continued non-compliance 8. Teacher Changes ⦁ Students may request to change their assigned teacher if they are unsatisfied with their current teacher. ⦁ Teacher changes are subject to availability and must be requested through official communication channels. 9. Legal Compliance ⦁ By booking, you agree lessons may begin before consumer cooling-off periods (e.g., EU/UK law) expire, waiving cancellation rights once lessons start. By proceeding with payment, you accept these Terms & Conditions.
