iSpeaktu Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the iSpeaktu mobile application, website, lessons, messaging services, and other services provided by iSpeaktu Global (“iSpeaktu,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account, booking a lesson, purchasing lesson credits, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using iSpeaktu, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.
1. About iSpeaktu
iSpeaktu is an online English-learning institution that provides English language education through technology and live instruction.
Our Services may include:
One-on-one English lessons
Group lessons
Conversation practice
Business English
Grammar instruction
Job-interview preparation
Exam preparation
Kids English programs
Learning materials
Teacher-student messaging
Learning progress and feedback
Other educational services introduced by iSpeaktu
The features available to you may depend on your account type, learning program, subscription, location, and the features currently offered by iSpeaktu.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating or using an iSpeaktu account.
You are responsible for:
Keeping your account information accurate
Maintaining the security of your login credentials
Preventing unauthorized access to your account
Not sharing your account with another person unless iSpeaktu expressly permits it
You must not create an account using false information or impersonate another person.
If you are using iSpeaktu on behalf of a child, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian or otherwise have appropriate authority to act on the child's behalf.
3. Educational Services
iSpeaktu provides educational services but does not guarantee a particular learning outcome, examination result, employment outcome, promotion, salary increase, or level of English proficiency.
Learning results may depend on factors including attendance, participation, practice, prior knowledge, learning ability, teacher interaction, and other circumstances outside iSpeaktu's control.
iSpeaktu may modify, add, remove, or discontinue educational programs or features as the Services develop.
4. Lesson Credits
Certain iSpeaktu Services operate using lesson credits.
A lesson credit may be required to book or attend a lesson.
Credits may be purchased through:
Individual lesson packages
Subscription plans
Promotional offers
Other purchasing arrangements offered by iSpeaktu
Unless otherwise stated:
A booked lesson deducts the applicable credit from your account.
Credits must be used within their stated validity period.
Expired credits generally cannot be restored or refunded.
Credits are personal to the account that purchased or received them.
Credits may not be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash unless iSpeaktu expressly approves the transfer.
Promotional credits may be subject to additional terms.
5. Subscriptions
Where subscription plans are offered, the applicable subscription terms, price, billing frequency, lesson allocation, credit validity, and other conditions will be presented to you before purchase.
A subscription may automatically renew if automatic renewal is enabled or otherwise applicable to the purchasing method.
You are responsible for cancelling a subscription before the applicable renewal date if you do not wish to continue receiving recurring charges.
Where a subscription is purchased through a third-party platform, such as an app store, cancellation and billing may also be governed by that platform's applicable rules.
6. Booking
A lesson is considered booked when the booking is successfully confirmed through the applicable iSpeaktu booking system.
Where a booking requires a lesson credit, the applicable credit may be deducted when the booking is confirmed.
iSpeaktu may assign or reassign teachers based on:
Teacher availability
Student learning needs
Course requirements
Scheduling considerations
Operational requirements
Teacher availability may vary and iSpeaktu does not guarantee that a particular teacher will always be available.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Unless a different cancellation policy applies to your specific program or subscription:
Students may cancel or reschedule a lesson at least 12 hours before the scheduled lesson.
Eligible cancellations will normally result in the applicable lesson credit being returned to the student's account.
A cancellation made less than 12 hours before the scheduled lesson may be treated as a used lesson, and the credit may not be returned.
Rescheduling transfers the applicable booking to another eligible time when available.
iSpeaktu may limit repeated rescheduling where necessary to maintain scheduling fairness and operational stability.
iSpeaktu may make exceptions in reasonable circumstances, including certain technical, emergency, or service-related situations.
8. Attendance and Punctuality
Lessons begin and end at their scheduled times.
Student No-Show
If a student does not attend a scheduled lesson without an approved exception, the lesson may be marked as missed and the applicable credit may be used.
Student Lateness
If a student joins late, the teacher may continue the lesson until the originally scheduled end time.
Student lateness does not automatically extend the lesson.
Teacher Lateness
If a teacher is late, the teacher should make reasonable efforts to complete the full lesson duration.
If a teacher is more than 15 minutes late without appropriate notice, iSpeaktu may return the applicable credit or provide another appropriate remedy.
Teacher No-Show
If a teacher does not attend a scheduled lesson, iSpeaktu may return the applicable credit or provide an alternative remedy.
9. Lesson Completion
A lesson is considered completed when the scheduled session takes place and the lesson duration is substantially fulfilled.
iSpeaktu may review lesson records, booking information, teacher reports, technical information, or other relevant information when determining whether a lesson was completed.
10. Teacher Changes
Students may request a teacher change.
Teacher changes are subject to teacher availability, course requirements, scheduling, and iSpeaktu's operational processes. A request for a teacher change does not automatically entitle a student to a refund.
11. Technical Problems
Users are responsible for maintaining reasonably suitable:
Internet connectivity
Device functionality
Microphone and audio equipment
Camera equipment where required
Software and operating-system compatibility
Technical problems caused by a student's device, internet connection, or environment do not automatically qualify for a refund or credit restoration.
If a significant technical problem affects a lesson, iSpeaktu may review the circumstances and determine an appropriate remedy.
Where the problem is caused by iSpeaktu, a teacher, or iSpeaktu's systems, iSpeaktu may provide a replacement lesson, credit restoration, or another reasonable remedy.
12. Messaging and Communications
The iSpeaktu application may allow students and teachers to communicate through messaging.
Users agree to use messaging only for legitimate educational and service-related purposes.
Messages must not contain:
Threats
Harassment
Fraudulent content
Illegal content
Malicious software
Abusive or discriminatory content
Unauthorized advertising or solicitation
Content that violates another person's rights
iSpeaktu may take reasonable action when messages or other platform activity violate these Terms or create security, safety, or operational concerns.

13. User Conduct
Users must use the Services respectfully and lawfully.
You may not:
Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate another user
Impersonate another person
Provide fraudulent account information
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account
Circumvent security controls
Interfere with the operation of the Services
Reverse engineer or misuse the application
Upload malicious software
Use the Services for unlawful activities
Abuse promotional offers
Attempt to manipulate lesson, credit, rating, or payment systems
iSpeaktu may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action.
14. Children and Parent/Guardian Accounts
Some iSpeaktu programs are designed for children.
Where required by applicable law, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent before a child may use applicable Services. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising the child's use of the Services to the extent required by applicable law and appropriate to the program.
Additional requirements may apply to accounts or programs designed for children.
15. Intellectual Property
The iSpeaktu application, website, educational materials, branding, logos, designs, software, text, graphics, videos, audio, lesson materials, and other content provided by iSpeaktu are owned by or licensed to iSpeaktu unless otherwise stated.
You may use iSpeaktu materials only for your personal educational use or other purposes expressly authorized by iSpeaktu.
You may not reproduce, sell, distribute, publicly display, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from iSpeaktu materials without appropriate authorization.
16. User Content
If you submit content to iSpeaktu, including messages, feedback, assignments, or other material, you retain ownership of your content to the extent provided by applicable law.
You grant iSpeaktu the limited rights reasonably necessary to store, process, transmit, display, and use that content to provide and operate the Services.
We may also use information in accordance with the iSpeaktu Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit does not violate applicable law or another person's rights.
17. Third-Party Services
iSpeaktu may rely on third-party platforms and services to provide portions of the Services, including authentication, cloud infrastructure, messaging, notifications, payments, application distribution, communications, and other technical services.
Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to those providers' own terms and policies.
iSpeaktu is not responsible for independent third-party services outside our reasonable control.
18. Payments and Refunds
Prices, subscription terms, lesson packages, and applicable taxes or fees will be presented through the applicable purchasing process.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law:
Used lessons are non-refundable.
Partially used packages are generally non-refundable.
Expired credits are non-refundable.
Unused packages may be eligible for a refund subject to the applicable purchase terms.
Promotional credits may be subject to separate restrictions.
Where a purchase is made through an app store or other third-party payment platform, that platform's applicable payment and refund rules may also apply.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Account Suspension and Termination
iSpeaktu may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of:
Fraud
Abuse
Harassment
Unauthorized access
Payment-related violations
Serious or repeated violations of these Terms
Illegal activity
Conduct that creates a significant security or operational risk
Where appropriate, iSpeaktu may provide notice before suspension or termination.
You may stop using the Services at any time.
Termination of an account does not automatically eliminate obligations or rights that arose before termination.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that:
The Services will always be available
The application will always operate without errors
Every teacher will always be available
Lessons will always occur without technical interruption
The Services will meet every user's individual expectations
A particular educational or professional outcome will be achieved
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iSpeaktu will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, iSpeaktu's total liability relating to the Services will be limited to the amount you paid to iSpeaktu for the applicable Services during the period permitted by applicable law. This section does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
22. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.
This provision applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
23. Changes to the Services
iSpeaktu may modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the Services when reasonably necessary.
This may include changes to:
Educational programs
Teachers
Lesson availability
Features
Application functionality
Pricing
Subscription plans
Booking procedures
Where a change materially affects an existing paid service, iSpeaktu will provide notice or an appropriate remedy where required by applicable law.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
For minor changes, the updated Terms may become effective when posted.
For material changes, we may provide reasonable notice through the application, website, email, or another appropriate communication method where required.
The updated Terms will include a revised Effective Date.
If you continue using the Services after the updated Terms become effective, your continued use will constitute acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If you do not agree with a material change, you should stop using the affected Services and contact iSpeaktu regarding your account or applicable purchases.
25. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to iSpeaktu and its relationship with the user, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to you.
Any dispute arising from the Services should first be brought to iSpeaktu so that the parties have an opportunity to resolve the matter informally.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
26. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
27. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with applicable policies and agreements referenced in them, constitute the agreement governing your use of the iSpeaktu Services, except where a separate written agreement applies.

For questions regarding these Terms, account issues, lesson disputes, refunds, or other concerns.
Acceptance
By creating an iSpeaktu account, booking a lesson, purchasing lesson credits, subscribing to a plan, or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
